Rescue Diver course

In the Rescue Diver course, you will learn rescue skills and how to manage emergencies while diving. With the newly learned skills you will be better able to prevent and manage accidents.
You will learn the basic skills of accident prevention, rescue and emergency management in a swimming pool and in a quiet open water spot.

Rescue Diver course includes 2 days of theory classes and 2 days of rescue practice in the pool and in a calm open water spot. There are a total of 10 rescue exercises spread over 2 days.

After completing the Rescue Diver course, you will receive the Rescue Diver certification card, which is valid worldwide.
The Rescue Diver course is a prerequisite for the Divemaster course, the first professional level in diving.

 

Pre-condition:

  • Advanced Open Water Certification and a minimum of 20 logged dives.

  • Proof of a first aid course with cardiopulmonary resuscitation not older than 2 years

Description

Day 1:

  • pick up at your accommodation 7 a.m. and 7.30 a.m
    Free of charge: Chalong, Rawai, Phuket Town, Kata, Karon, Patong
    Extra charge: all other destinations 300 THB
  • Approx. 3–4-hour theory
  • Transportation to the hotel

 

Day 2:

  • pick up at your accommodation between 7 a.m. and 7.30 a.m
  • with the liveaboard from Chalong Pier to Racha Yai about 1 ½ hours during the crossing there is breakfast on board
  • first dive after arrival for about 40 minutes to a maximum depth of about 30 m in the sea
  • Lunch on board approx. 1 hour
  • second dive & third dive for about 40 minutes to a maximum depth of about 30 m in the sea
  • Around 4 p.m. we are back in the port of Chalong
  • Transportation to the hotel

 

Day 3:

  • pick up at your accommodation between 7 a.m. and 7.30 a.m
